Published checkbox not showing on other user role in Drupal

If the "Published" checkbox isn't showing for other user roles in Drupal 9 or above version of Frupal, ensure the "administer content" permission is granted to those roles. Follow the below step to enable Published option with content edit for the user role.

Navigate to Permissions Page

1. Go to Administration → People → Permissions

   • URL: /admin/people/permissions

2. Look for the Content section.

3. Find the permissions related to publishing content.

Grant Publishing Permissions to the Role

1. Locate the "Administer content" or "Publish content" permission.

2. Check the box for the user role that needs access to the "Publish" checkbox.

3. If your site has multiple content types, also enable:

   • "Create [Content Type] content"

   • "Edit own [Content Type] content"

   • "Edit any [Content Type] content" (if needed)

4. Click Save permissions.
